1. Who we are

Lucky Duck Mowing (ABN 98 912 092 930) is a sole-trader lawn mowing and garden maintenance business based on the Sunshine Coast. Public liability insured to $10 million.

2. Quotes

Quotes are free and non-obligatory. Quoted prices are valid for 30 days from the date the quote is issued. If your property has materially changed (extra growth, storm damage, additional scope) between quote and booking, we may revise the price after a quick discussion with you.

3. Scheduling and reminders

We send a reminder text the day before each booked visit. You do not need to be home for us to do the work, provided we have access to the lawn or garden being maintained.

4. Wet weather

Heavy rain on a booked day may cause us to push the visit by one to two days to avoid damaging your lawn. We will let you know by SMS in advance.

5. Payment

Payment is due on completion of the work, unless otherwise agreed. We accept cash, EFT bank transfer, EFTPOS, Mastercard and Visa. For commercial and body-corporate clients we issue monthly invoices payable within 14 days of invoice date.

6. Cancellations

We ask for 24 hours notice for cancellations or reschedules of one-off visits, so we can fill the slot. For ongoing fortnightly schedules, you can pause or cancel any time without notice. We will not invoice for a visit that did not happen.

7. Property access and obstacles

You are responsible for ensuring we have safe access to your property and that loose items (toys, tools, pets, animal waste) are cleared from work areas before our arrival. If we cannot safely complete the booked work because of access or obstacles, we may charge a partial visit fee.

8. Underground services

Standard lawn mowing and garden maintenance does not involve digging. If you have unmarked irrigation, low-voltage cabling, or other underground services that could be damaged by edging or whipper-snipping, please tell us before we start. We will work around them.

9. Liability

We carry $10 million public liability insurance. Our liability for any single visit is limited to the cost of that visit, except where Australian Consumer Law mandates otherwise.

10. Photos

We sometimes photograph our finished work for our website and social media. We do not photograph people, vehicles, or anything that could identify the property or its owner without permission. If you would prefer we did not photograph at your property at all, just let us know.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your booking is the version in effect when you booked.
