The grass on the Sunshine Coast does not slow down.
November to April it is growing inches a week. By the time you get out the mower on a Saturday, you are an hour into your weekend before you have even started edging.
Then summer storms knock everything sideways. Suddenly you are not just behind on mowing, you have got palm fronds across the back yard and clippings that will not fit in this fortnight's bin.
It is a job that does not reward you for doing it yourself.
What we include
A standard mowing visit from Lucky Duck Mowing covers:
- A proper cut at the height your turf actually needs (couch, kikuyu, buffalo, zoysia all behave differently, we adjust)
- Edges done with the line trimmer along every garden bed, fence line, and concrete edge
- Clippings caught where it makes sense, mulched where it does not
- Hard surfaces blown clean before we leave (paths, driveways, courtyards)
- Green waste removed by trailer, or we will fill your council bin if you would rather
Most lawns we look after on a regular schedule are a 30 to 45 minute job. Acreage, storm-affected lawns, or first-time cuts where the grass has got long can take a bit more. We will quote that fairly and tell you straight.

Weekly
For lawns that race away in summer or for properties with a high standard to maintain. Most regulars on weekly bookings are commercial sites, holiday rentals, or larger residential blocks.
Fortnightly
The most popular schedule. Suits most residential lawns on the Sunshine Coast for about nine months of the year. We will often suggest weekly through the wettest summer weeks and drop back as growth slows.
One-off / as needed
Selling? Renting out? Lawn got away from you while you were on holiday? We do one-off jobs without making you sign up to anything. If you decide later you would like us regularly, we will book you in.
